Description

The USB to RS-485 Convertor Cable is typically used to connect a laptop or computer with Kayden RCM Software (RCMS) to a Kayden CLASSIC Flow, Level, and Interface Switch. The convertor cable can also be used with suitable software for general purpose RS-485 network communication, including diagnostics and monitoring.

  • FTDI FT232RI chip with built-in 15KV ESD and TVS overvoltage protection
  • Permanently attached 1.5 meter RS-485 cable
  • USB shield is not connected to 485(C) (connect 485(C) at server/client if required)
  • Includes 3-screw terminal block
  • Up to 32 slave devices
  • Works with Windows® XP, 2000, Vista, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, Mac OSX and Linux (Kayden RCM Software requires Windows)
